Explore data using a statistical inquiry process

Where do I start?
For 1.1, you will complete a statistical investigation on a topic of your choosing, and write a report on it. Your topic should be something you find interesting or useful.
Before you get started writing the report, you need to have done three things (your teacher can help you with these!):
-
Choose a topic;
-
Choose which of the 4 types of investigation you'll do (see below); and
-
Find some data on your topic (or collect some yourself).
After this, you are ready to write the report. Select the correct template below (depending on which of the 4 types of investigation you are doing) and get started.

4.
Experimental Probability Investigation
(Histogram & Two-way table)
An investigation into the number of times an event will occur over a period of time.
Example - Investigating how many times in a week a restaurant runs out of noodles, based on past results.
Unfortunately, we have not written a template for this type of investigation.
