Our story...
Kia ora. My name is Jacob Young and I'm the founder of Trajectory Christchurch. ​​ I lead a small team of our fantastic Christchurch-based tutors.

I personally began private tutoring in 2017 and have personally helped 120+ students in Canterbury achieve their goals through one-on-one school tuition. I've personally seen the impact that tuition makes on the confidence, abilities, and results of students.

After working as a commercial lawyer in Christchurch for 2 years, in July of 2024 I opened Trajectory Christchurch and started this awesome journey.​​​​​

Trajectory's philosophy is to hold nothing back. We have developed, and provide our students with, the best NCEA resources to help them achieve their academic goals.

Trajectory's tutors have not only achieved at the top level of NCEA, they are fantastic communicators, and great at building a rapport with students. They are trained specifically to bring out the best of students, and receive ongoing coaching to ensure they are delivering for their students.
No two students are alike, and not all students' school campaigns have been smooth sailing. Learning difficulties, social challenges, and an unsuitable learning environment at school, are some of the factors which hamper a student's learning.
