About our free introductory lesson...
The free introductory lesson is a relaxed, 1 on 1, 60-minute lesson which takes place either at your home or a local library, anywhere in Christchurch. The purpose is for us to meet each other and give you & your child a chance to see how we operate.
The introductory lesson is a way for you to trial our services for free, with no strings attached. If you decide not to go ahead with regular tuition, that is totally OK.
What can I expect?
During the introductory lesson, we will:

Get your child talking about their school experience, the subjects and teachers they love & hate, and find out what NCEA assessments (if any) they have coming up which they'll need help with.​

Assess your child's level and capability in relation to the New Zealand Curriculum, by setting work at an appropriate level. This helps us get to know their level and learning characteristics, in order to create a learning plan for them.

Find out what your child's results have been so far this academic year, and how they're placed in relation to their academic goals.​
